About the Harbor Festival
THE TEAM BEHIND THE HOU HARBOR FESTIVAL
The organizer of the Hou Harbor Festival is the association Hou Hallens Venner. Hou Hallens Venner supports annually with approximately 150,000 DKK.
Money that the association earns through activities such as:
Hou Harbor Festival – every year on the weekend of week 27
All events are based on voluntary and unpaid work. At the Hou Harbor Festival alone, a couple of hundred volunteers are in action.
The proceeds from the events go entirely towards supporting the Hou Hall and youth work in Hou.

After an amazing 2023 Harbor Festival and flea market, donations were made to the following in Hou:
- Hou Børnehus – a trip to the trampoline hall
- HOIF Gymnastics – contribution towards an air track
- Junior Club – various maintenance materials
- Hou Theater (musical) – catering
- HOIF Swimming – contribution towards a storage box
- Green Focus – development
- HOIF Football – three-man goals
